A program for high school students interestd in learning through the eyes of the arts!
The Eau Gallie High School Academy of Fine Arts will be dedicated to the vision “Education Through the Eyes of Art”. Each cohort of students will attend common core classes and a structured continuum of the art focus course of their choice, including performing, visual and technical arts. Core classes will all be taught “through the eyes of art” or with an emphasis on the arts. Academy of Fine Arts teachers, both core and focus, will work together to develop curriculum maps and projects, as well as evaluate portfolios and monitor student progress.

Each cohort will be comprised of students from each of the three focus areas and will be representative of the overall student population. Cohorts will be formed from students who have expressed a passion for the arts and have completed the application package. This program will not be gated and will be open to students of all abilities.
